Show 1 Obituary LOUIS STEUDEL Funeral services were conducted con-ducted for Louis Steudel Tuesday Tues-day at 12 o'clock in the L.D.S. ward chapel. Mr. Steudel, 88, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday of causes incident to age. He was born Dec. 30, 1864 in Milwaukee, Milwau-kee, Wisconsin. He was married to Donna Burris, May 11, 1932, in Grand Junction, Colo. A farmer and stockman, he resided resid-ed in the vicinity of Myton for several years and later moved to a ranch near Bridgeland. He is survived by his widow, a step-daughter by a former marriage, Mrs. Edith Knave Crawford, Glen Sides, Penn.; a sister, in Germany; 3 step-grandchildren and 7 step- great-grand-childrert. Burial was in the Bridgeland, Cemetery, under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary. Louis Uresk arrived home on Wednesday from Chicago to spend the Christmas holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Uresk, Sr. He was accompanied accom-panied by Miss Corinne Blom-quist, Blom-quist, also of Chicago, who was a holiday guest at the Uresk home. Louis is a student at the Northwestern Dental College. Col-lege. Pvt. Jackie Redfoot is home on furlough, arriving Thursday from Ft. Lewis, Washington, where he is serving in the 223rd Service Battery of the Light Artillery. Slc Bernard Hadden, who has been serving in the U. S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Iowa, stationed at Norfolk, Virginia, received his discharge and arrived ar-rived home Thursday evening in time to join the family in their Christmas celebration. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Woodard are Mrs. Woodard's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Pectol, and her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Woodard and their two daughters, who arrived Monday from Blue Lake, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Felter are spending the Holidays with their son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Felter in Roosevelt. Mrs. Gladys Creveston of Gusher was a visitor last week at the. hnme nf hpr dansht.pr and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe, to care for Mrs. Tolboe who has been ill with a severe case of Tonsilitis. Christmas dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hadden, Jr. were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Kielbasa and family, Mr and Mrs. William Hadden, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hadden and family and Bernard Hadden. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck entertained en-tertained at a Xmas Eve dinner with their guest list including Mr., and Mrs. Fred Todd and son Alan, Miss Alice Todd, A. M. Todd, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb and Connie and Carl and Mrs. Lou Milner. Mrs. Elsie Dean came from Salt Lake to visit her son and daughters. She was an Xmas dinner guest at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Hancock, where she was joined by Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Dean and family. Later she went to Duchesne to visit Mr. ad Mrs. Frank Morrell and Mr. and Mrs. Lavon Thomas, Thom-as, who are also her daughters) and sons-in-law. Christmas dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish were Mrs. Dalgleish's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart of Duchesne and her cousin, Mr. Del Combs of Talmage. The other invited guests were Mrs. Combs and son Gary who de cided to make a quick trip to Redondo Beach, Calif, to spend Xmas with Mrs. Combs' father. E. D. Barton. Mr. and A. C. Tolboe were dinner guests on Xmas day at the home of Mrs. Tolboe's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Semken in Gusher, where they joined Mrs. Gladys Creveston, Crev-eston, Mrs. Tolboe's mother. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb, of Roosevelt and Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson and daughter Faye were dinner guests on Christmas day at the ranch of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Brum-mett Brum-mett and daughter, Doris Ann, arrived last week from Arcota, Calif., to visit at the home of Mr. Brummett's mother, Mrs Alice Brummett. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Frand-sen Frand-sen who' have been residing in Price came home for the Xmas. holidays to greet their daughter and son-jjlaw', Mr. and Mrs. LffRby Pulos, who arrived here from Augusta, Georgia on furlough. fur-lough. The young couple are also visiting Mr. Pulos' parents in Roosevelt while here. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd were hosts on Christmas day at a dinner with the following guests present: Mr. and W. H. Linck, Margo Linck, Miss Alice Todd, A. M. Todd and Mrs. Lou Milner. Mil-ner. The lovely cedar chest and its load of beautiful hand-made articles which was given by the American Legion Auxiliary, was won by Sharon Neilson, of Bridgeland. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Haueter of Midway, came out, Saturday, for a holiday visit at the ranch home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Haueter. Haue-ter. Dinner guests at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Uresk, Ur-esk, Sr. on Christmas Day were, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Uresk and family, Matt Uresk, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Frank Uresk and children, Mr. and Mrs. Antone Uresk and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Uresk Ur-esk and sons, Louis Uresk and Miss Corinne Blomquist, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Deller and children, George Sheffrar and Father Strancar, of Roosevelt John L. Johnson visited in Sandy during the Christmas holidays returning home Saturday Satur-day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Case, of Duchesne, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Monks and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Monks and children and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Monks were Christmas dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Liddell. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas left last week to enjoy Christmas with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Pur-cell, Pur-cell, and children, in Areata, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Krissman and two children left Saturday for a holiday vacation trip to Phoenix, Arizona.
