Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Primary Has A Party And Program A very interesting program was given Christmas Eve by the Primary. The theme was, "Peace On Earth," with Deon Bird as the reader." All the children took part in the program. pro-gram. As a climax, Santa payed a visit to' the children, givign them a a bag of candy, nuts and an orange. Orvil Larsen arrived Tuesday to' spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James O. Larsen. Orvil is stationed at Pensacola, Florida in the Air Force. Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross on Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross received word that their son, Pfc. R. G. Ross had arrived in Frankfort, Germany. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross, sons, Leon, Larry and Lanny, spent Christmas at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Mecham in Roosevelt. Dinner guests, Christmas, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Char-lie Bird were Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Solmonson, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, of Neola. Other callers were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bird, of Murray; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mair, and Russel Bird, of Heb-er. Heb-er. Tuesday night the M.I. A. went caroling and Santa went along and took a basket of godies to the elderly people of our ward. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Mitchell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Her-shel Her-shel Iorg and family, all of Altamont; Miss Shirley Mecham Mech-am and children and Miss Janet Stevens visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Shields, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen and, family were dinner guests on Christmas of Mr. and Mrs. Wan-less Wan-less Shields in Bridgeland. Mr. and Mrs. Art Larsen and son, Lonnie, of Salt Lake . City, visited over the holidays with Mr. Larsen's mother, Mrs. Cynthia Cyn-thia Larsen. Dinner guests, Christmas, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James O. Larsen were Mr. and Mrs. Art Larsen, son, Lonnie, of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Cynthia Larsen, of Arcadia; Mrs. Olive Sorensen and Avie Sorensen, of Ioka. Al White and Marvel Moore, of Duchesne, visited Sunday School here Sunday. |
