Show Randlett By Mrs. Viola Jensen Gold, Green Ball Held Dec. 22nd The M.I.A. held their Gold and Green Ball Tuesday evening. eve-ning. The Smith orchestra, of Gusher, furnished the music. The floor show was under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Shel-don Lewis. Stake visitors attending at-tending were: Mr. and Mrs. Le-land Le-land Ottosen and Mr. and Mrs. Parley Rawlings. PRIMARY GOES CAROLING The Primary Trail Builders and Home Builders went Christmas Christ-mas Caroling Monday evening. They started at Randlett and the evening was climaxed when everyone met at the Bishop Dur-fee Dur-fee home, where games were played and a delicious lunch served. CHRISTMAS PARTIES Christmas parties were enjoyed en-joyed in all Primary classes on Tuesday. The Guide patrol and the Trekker classes met at the home of Mrs. Lula Dudley, where they enjoyed a party. Christmas parties were enjoyed en-joyed Wednesday in all the class rooms . at the Avalon School. Gifts were exchanged and refreshments re-freshments served. Christmas visitors at the Henry Hen-ry Wall home were: Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Wall and Gail Timothy, of Bonanza, and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Wall, of Vernal, Mr. and Mrs. Norton Shelton, of Roosevelt, were Christmas morning visitors at the J. E. Jensen home. The Shelton's and Jensens spent Christmas day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Shel-don Lewis, at Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Taylor, of Vernal, were Christmas guests at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Garr Brough and family, of Layton, visited relatives and friends here Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday. RELIEF SOCIETY PARTY The Relief Society enjoyed a Christmas party Wednesday evening at the Relief Society room. Christmas carols were sung and games played. Gifts were exchanged and a delicious plate lunch served to twenty-four twenty-four ladies. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Harris, of Provo, were overnight guests Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Brough, of Whiterocks. spent the holidays holi-days visiting at the homes of their children here. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Barlow spent the Christmas weekend visiting Mr. Barlow's relatives in Bluebell. Mrs. Ada Pickup entertained her children and families at a Christmas dinner. Those attending attend-ing were Mr. and Mrs. LaRue Pickup and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Pickup and family, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Pickup and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chandler and family; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rich-ard O'Niel and family, of Price; Mr. and Mrs. George Pickup and family, of Tule Lake, Calif., were the only members of the family not present. Grant and Clyde Jarman spent the holidays in Manilla, visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Tinker. Tin-ker. Vern McMullin enjoyed a short furlough visiting his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Mariner McMullin. Mc-Mullin. Stake Sunday School visitors. Sunday were: B. O. Colton and Farris Henrie. Both men talked in Sunday School. President Hollis G. Hullinger and High Councilman E. B. Stoddard also attended all Sunday meetings. ' Speakers at Sacrament meeting, meet-ing, Sunday were: Vern McMullin, McMul-lin, Farris Henrie, B. O. Colton, Col-ton, E. B. Stoddard and President Pres-ident Hollis G. Hullinger. A piano duet was played by Shirley Shir-ley and Pauline Pickup Mr. and Mrs. David Bu of Rigby, Idaho', spent the week-1 end visiting the William Chandlers Chand-lers and Ernest Turners. |
