Show Primary Group Entertained A preJChristmas party was held Wednesday evening, Dec. 16th, at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Roberts in Pleasant Plea-sant Valley. Present were the officers and teachers of the Myton My-ton ward Primary and their husbands hus-bands and partners. A short program, pro-gram, games and refreshments were enjoyed by President and Mrs. Hollis Hullinger, of Roosevelt; Roose-velt; Bishop and Mrs. Glen Gilbert, Gil-bert, Mr. and Mrs. Aften Rich-ens, Rich-ens, Mrs. Levi Porritt, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Abegglen, Mr. and Mrs. Holt Wardle, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Gingell, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Gingell, Mrs. Guy Giles, Orson Giles, James Martin, Dixie Dix-ie Lee Oberg, David Crapo, Shirley Harmon, Rlynn Anderson, Ander-son, Linna Crapo, Val Labrum, Sheryl Richens, Merrill Chandler, Chand-ler, Elaine Chandler and the host and hostess. Marion Mott will leave Monday Mon-day for Salt Lake City to enter the Veterans' Hospital for a check-up. Mr. Mott has been convalescing at his home after being confined to the hospital for about 2 months. Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen, Sr. left Dec. 23rd for a six weeks' vacation in Texas. They will spend Christmas with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Stevens, in El Paso. Mrs. Stevens is the former form-er Mary Lee Mortensen. They will later visit other relatives and enjoy a trip through Texas before returning to the Stevens' home for a further visit before returning to Myton. Joan Funk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Funk, who is attending Wasatch Academy at Mt. Pleasant, came home Friday Fri-day to spend the holidays here. Faye Robinson, a student at Wasatch Academy, is home to enjoy the Christmas vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson, arriving Friday. CONDUCT SERVICES. Rev. A. W. Rolf conducted pre-Christmas services at the Presbyterian Church, Sunday at 11 a.m. A large group was in attendance with many visitors present from Duchesne and Vernal. Ver-nal. Vocal numbers were presented pre-sented by Mrs. H. C. Cooper, with Mrs. O. A. Dart accompanist. accom-panist. The occasion was a special spe-cial event to celebrate the discharge dis-charge of all indebtedness on the church. A delicious dinner was served at the close of the church services and more than 60 members were present to enjoy the repast and the joy of the occasion. Rev. Robinson arrived ar-rived from Vernal with other members to join the group for the dinner and program. Miss Helene Hemphill is expected ex-pected from Salt Lake City. Wednesday, to' spend the holidays holi-days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dcnzil Hemphill. |
