Show fSeaverl ITall I By Terry Lemonjf The results of the stu-dentbody, stu-dentbody, voting for senior spotlight were announced at the Sweetheart Ball last Saturday Sat-urday and are as follows: King, Daniel Robinson; Queen,Terrie Hutchings; 1st attendants, Lori Gurr and Kristl Morris; 2nd attendants, atten-dants, Gary Goff and Pam Wright; Mr.Miss Attractive, Attrac-tive, Morgan Baldwin and Lisa Blackburn; Mr.Miss Scholastic, Steven Bartlett and Cindy Webster; Mr. Miss Success, Dennis Phillips Phil-lips and Bonnie Bettridge; Mr. Athletic, David Crook; Miss Talent, Nanette Smith; Mr .Miss Personality, Brad Waters andRachelleReuche; Mr.Miss Best Dressed, Jeff Williams and Colleen Truman. Tru-man. There will be a National School Assembly on the 14th and it will begin at 8:30 a.m. Visitors are invited. The seminarywillholdlt's Seminary Banquet on Feb. 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the LDS 2nd Ward for it's graduating 4 year students. The 7th grade assembly and social will be on the 23rd. The GAA BasketballTour-ney BasketballTour-ney will be held in Parowan on thel6-17-18. State FHA Convention will be Feb. 24-25 at Salt Lake City. Fourteen Future Homemakers will attend from the Beaver Chapter. Cindy Webster will preside at the convention as a State officer. The Beaver Chapter Chap-ter will be nominated for a "4 Star Award" at the Convention. Con-vention. The wrestlers are looking forward to the State 1-A Region wrestling tournament, tourna-ment, coming up on the 10th and 11th in Sallna. Come out and support them, as many of the Beavers have been picked as favorites and should go all the way to State Championship matches. State will be Feb. 16-17-18. The Beavers play their last regular season game of 1978 as they host the Milford Tigers on the 15th. The Region 8 Roung Rob-In Rob-In will be held In Panguitch this year on the 24 and 25th. The drill team festival will be held as part of the Round Robin this year, also j on the 25th. |
