Show Mille, 3rd place, two points; and Pam Gillies, 4th place, one point. Thursday, the Class B Team competed for their trophy and points. Samual Hackwell won first place, 6 points for his class, and the 1st Place B Trophy. Others who placed and won class points were: Eric Jes-sup, Jes-sup, 2nd, 5 points; Rodney Breinholt, 4th, 3 points; Marco Brienholt, 6th, 1 point; Chad Blackburn, 3rd, 4 points; Michael Neilsen, 5h, 2 point. Friday was the big day with the Class A spellers competing for the trophy and a total of 55 class points at stake. Nathan Joseph won the Class A spell down. This won for him the Class A Trophy, the title of Belknap School Spelling Champ and 10 points for his class. Others who placed and won class points on the A team were: Keith Stucki, 2nd, 9 points; Cheryl Gale, 4th, 7 points; Anita Ruesch, 6th, 5 points; Traci Ann Gillies, 8th, 3 points; Patti Stoker, 10th, 1 point; Rachelle Lee, 3rd, 8 points; Wendy Smith, 5th, 6 points; Alison Lowe, 7th, 4 points; Michael Stucki , 9th 2 points. The Class Trophy was won by the 6th grade with a total of 33 points. This years Spelling Bee was conducted by Mr. Albrecht according to the rules f the Deseret News State Spelling Bee. Contestants Contes-tants included grades 4 through 6. On Friday March 17th the Belknap School will host the Beaver County School District Dis-trict Spelling Bee. The winner win-ner of this contest will go to state and represent our district dis-trict in the state finals. The district meet will be open to the five schools in the county coun-ty and contestants will come, from grades 4 through 8. Representing Belknap at the district meet will be: Nathan Joseph, Keith Stucki, Rachelle Lee, Cheryl Gale, and Wendy Smith. Belknap complof G3 spoiling Under the chairmanship of Mr. Milton Albrecht, the Belknap School completed another successful Spelling Bee. Judges this year were Mrs. GLoria Murdock and Mrs. Ann Martin. Wednesday, Jan. 25, the C Team finals were held and Steven Bowler won first place, four points for his class, and the Class C 1st Place Trophy.
