Utah edged out the Michi. gan Farm Bureau, with sev. en star awards and Illinois with six. Each state Is judged on Its accomplishments in 14 program areas, the first of which is that a state must have made membership quota in order to qualify for the competition. Utah attained 14,258 member -families In 1977, an all-time highforthe state and well above its quota. |
