Show COMPANY B IS BUT, TO Wl STATE PIE Company B of the Utah National Guard, stationed at Ogden, has he-gun he-gun rifle practice and some of the members of the company have been making trips to the rifle range, northeast north-east of the city, every afternoon this week when the weather permitted. The men are practicing under the direction di-rection of Captain W. E. Kneass and, parly in the "week, out . of six men who worked out, three qualified as experts and three as marksmen. Captain Kneass has received the announcement that the United States government hag offered trophies to be competed for in every state this j summer. Company B has been in j the vanguard of the National Guard riflemen for several years, both in the individual and company contests. The Dupont shield has been won by the company in the past two annual contests and Captain Kneass believes that his mon can carry off the state prize offered by the government this year and the men will work to that end. |
