Show DEMOCRATS ARE TO MAKE A BIG FIGHT State Chairman Samuel R. Thur-man Thur-man of the Democratic state committee commit-tee yesterday prepared a long list of leading men of the Democratic party from which he will choose twenty-five twenty-five members to serve on the state executive committee. Judge Thur-man Thur-man is eager to select for service on this committee men who have had active experience in campaigns and men who are in a position to devote considerable time to the interests of the party. The personnel of the committee will bo announced on Saturday, and the first meeting of the committee will probably be held early next week. Among the first duties of the executive committee will be appointing appoint-ing a date for the state convention. The state organization left the official of-ficial issuance of a call for the state convention to the executive committee, commit-tee, but specified that the date to be fixed should be-between June '1 and June 15. - . Judge Thurman will -also announce on Saturday the names of those who will serve on the platform committee. commit-tee.
