Show Planter boxes, Old English paved brick and shade are three features of newly-completed landscaping at Festival New landscapinglighting greet 79 Festival Visitors to the 1979 Festival will enjoy a newly-completed landscaping package and a performance lighting system which has been in process of planning and completion com-pletion for seven years. The landscaping features Elizabethan-style paver brick, planter boxes with Old English flowers and herbs, new ramps and walkways, and as a special feature, the green dances each evening will be performed in a new dance pavilion located south of the theatre building. Traditional features of the annual Festival will also be continued this summer. sum-mer. Backstage tours, literary and production seminars, green shows each evening featuring madrigal singing, dancing, dan-cing, Punch and Judy, and an exhibit hall featuring materials from the Folger Shakespeare Library collection. Replacing the afternoon matinee this season will be a twice-weekly program of Renaissance Court music, presented by the Festival musicians and featuring the pomp and ceremony of an Elizabethan court performance. Monday afternoons during the production season a movie version of ROMEO AND JULIET will be shown. ( See article page 3.) Combine these activities as you like, or spend some time in the marvelous mountains moun-tains and national parks surrounding Cedar City.
