Show WORK ON ENOCH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PPOGFSSING If current progress on the Enoch Elementary School continues, it will be possible to move in for the opening of school in the latter part of August. The building is pretty well "closed in", windows are being installed, sheet rock is generally complete and ceiling tile is installed in about half of the building. Sidewalks on the outside of the building are being "poured", and ceremac tile setters will commence work this week. Cabinets are all complete and ready for installation. The building will include 13 regular classrooms and a classroom for special education. All the regular classrooms will be filled. It is possible that a third section of kindergarten students will be necessary. If so, they will occupy the special education room, and special education students will occupy the nurse's room. The enrollment is expected to be about 400 students. Dr. J. Clair Morris Superintendent Iron County School District |
