Show School News By PATSY YVEECH HIGH SCHOOL QUINTET WINS OVER ALUMNI Cheers arose from the Milford high gym Thursday, November 2D. The high schooT team were once again playing their annual alumni game. The high school team consisted I of Gordon Jensen, Bill McDonald, 1 Maurice Root, La Vere Carter, Tex Marshall, Clifton Reese, Jack Carter, Car-ter, Calvin Thompson and Nathan Smith. Their opponents were: Gordon Murdock, Bud James, Dody Williams, Gerald Hickhan, Jim Car-pita, Car-pita, Charles Class, Tine Bingham, Jack McNulty, Johnny Grimshaw and Juston' Collier. The game was a hard played six quaters. The officials were Howard Bingham and Ray Kesler. The score was 52-42 In favor of the high school team. This Friday, December 7, the I team will play another practice game in Ephrem. Under the coaching of Earl Holn the school has a very promising tea m'.his year. YEARBOOK PLANS GET UNDERWAY A lot of hustle and bustle was feen in the halls of Milford high school Monday and Tuesday, December De-cember 3 and 4, as the students came to and fro getting their pictures taken for the Mill-Ford yearbook. The seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshmen students had individual indi-vidual pictures taken while the seventh and eighth had group pictures pic-tures taken. Group pictures were also taken of the Hilltop Echo staff, Mill-Ford staff, home economics eco-nomics class, the phys. ed. classes, the shop and several others. The faculty, football and basketball boys also had Individual pictures. The pictures were taken by Mr. and Mrs. Paxton of the Paxton's Studio in Richfield. The Mill-Ford staff consisting of Bill McDonald, editor. Gordon Jen-. Jen-. sen, Carolyn Magill. Dorothy Cam- peau, Joey Murdock. Gerry Lund, Bert Leany, Patsy Leech, and Arnold Ar-nold Swindlohurst, are ready to bring a promising yearbook to the students tkis year. |
