The Escalante Valley Dairyman & Farmers Association of Miners-Mlnersville Miners-Mlnersville and Milford took definite def-inite form at a' meeting of dairymen, dairy-men, farmers, s'.ockraisers of Escalante Es-calante Valley and represented of the Lions Club of Milford held Monday afternoon at the Community Commun-ity Club house in South Milford. The constitution drawn up by Lew Mar Price, county agent was presented after being modified by the members, adopted. R. C. Parnsn was eiectea president, pres-ident, George Marshall of Minersville, Miners-ville, treasurer. Members of the board of directors or Minersville chosen were Truman Rollins, De-los De-los Baker and George Marshall. For Milford Valley Carley Fisher, J. G. Weber and Leroy Luken. Sam Cline and R. C. Parrish were elected representatives from the Lion Club. Mrs. R. E. Elllngsworth entertained enter-tained a number of young people with a dinner and party Wednesday Wednes-day night The accasion was the thirteenth birthday of her daughter, Ellen. Eleven guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Tanner en tertained several friends at an intimate in-timate dinner party Thursday afternoon. af-ternoon. The alumni association of the Milford high school held its annual an-nual Thanksgiving homecoming party Saturday evening at the high school gymnasium entertaining entertain-ing the high school seniors and the faculty as guests. Entertainment, Entertain-ment, for the evening begun with the playing of games and then followed fol-lowed by dancing which continued until eleven-thirty when lunch was served. Clyde Tanner " and his committee, commit-tee, Honora Hatchings, Alice Hes-lington, Hes-lington, Delia Kirk, Roy Carlson were responsible for the success of the party. Marian Bowman, assisted by Rosabell Jones entertained Saturday Satur-day nite in honor of Sherman Hickman. Entertainment for the evening consisted in playing hearts. Norman Nor-man Andrews and Rosebell Jones earned high score and Clyde Griffith Grif-fith and Louise Nay earning low.
