Show SOCIAL ATI EPISCOPAL CHURCH IN HONOR OF THE REVEREND W. W. FLEETWOOD. Delightful Reading Given by Mrs. R. S. Farnsworth Among the Many Pleasing Numbers on Program. A pleasant gathering of the members mem-bers of the Episcopal cnurch was held at the social hall of that church on the corner of Grant avenue and Twenty-fourth street, last evening. It was a Bodal function ot rare entertainment, enter-tainment, consisting of songs, musical renditions, reading, dancing and feasting. feast-ing. The occasion was for the purpose of the members of the church meeting with the minister, the Reverend Wm. W. Fleetwood. The program for the evening was in part as follows: A reading by Mrs. R. S. Farnsworth. "King Robert ot Sicily," accompanied by Miss Laird on the piano and Miss Hammell cm tho violin; recitation by .Miss Doroihy Armstrong; piano solo by Miss Mary Abbott; vocal solo by Miss Uunnell. A delicious luncheon was served, and music was furnished by the Reld Brothers' orchestra. After the rendition rendi-tion of the regular program the party, which consisted of over a hundred people, Indulged In dancing until the time of adjournment. It was a vory happy event and those present vouchsafed vou-chsafed It to be one of the most pleasant pleas-ant social events of the season. |
