Show ENGINEER WANTS PAY FOR INJURIES RECEIVED Short Line Locomotive Intruded on Side Track He Occupied. Salt Lake, Jan. 29. Mike D. Gil bourne, an engineer on the Rio Grande, filed suit against the Oregon Short Line company yesterday in tho district court for $30,000 damages for personal Injury on May 6, 1907. The complaint recites that Gll-bourne, Gll-bourne, while engaged as an engineer for the Rio Grande, delivered a number num-ber of freight cars to the Short Line jards on the night of May 6. and then placed his engine on a sidetrack, with red lanterns at either end. He alleges al-leges that a Short Line engine, with ten empty passenger coaches, crashed into his engine and badly injured him. |
