Show ARRANGEMENTS WILL BE ELABORATE Cheyenno, Wyo., Jan. 28. Elaborate Elabor-ate arrangements have been made to entertain delegates and visitors to tho third Tians-Mlssourl Dry Farming congress, which meets in Cheyenno next month. The entertainment and accommodation committees of the Industrial In-dustrial club have tho work well in ,hand. Automobiles and carriages will meet every train and a citizens' committee com-mittee of fifty, wearing white caps, will escort tho delegates! upon arrival to tho Industrial club, where, aftor registering, they will be driven to hotels ho-tels or private homes. A special committee Is at work canvassing tho city to secure rooms for the city's guests. Governor Brooks, Mayor Cook and other prominent people will throw open their homes to the delegates. As a result of what Is believed to be the disposition of National Commissioner Commis-sioner Plnchot to disapprove of dry farming, efforts are being made to have the members of the country life, commission appointed by President RooseS'elt attond the trans-Missouri dry farming congress. Other prominent promi-nent men who will attend the congress are the following experts from the department de-partment of agriculture: Prof. E. C. Chllcott, dry land agent investigator; Prof. W. M. Jardlne, dry land agent agronomist; Dr. Karl Kef-forma Kef-forma n, soil bacteriologist; Dr. L. J. Brlggs. director of the physical laboratory; labora-tory; II. H. Schwartz of the general land office, also will attend. W. S. Palmer of the weather bureau in Wyoming, will represent that j branch of tho government service. |
