Show returned Saturday from the Yellowstone Yel-lowstone Park. President and Mrs. H. Ray Pond left Monday for the Yellowstone Park. Miss Alice Harris spent the week at Malad, the guest of Miss Betty. Jane Hendricks. Mack Stoddard, La Von Hendricks and Dale Hendricks who accompanied accom-panied the scouts on their eastern east-ern trip, returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Halgren and Mrs. Rozina Halgren of Tooele were guests of relatives here Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday. 1 RICHMOND j Richmond Miss Gertie Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl. The young couple left immediately for Chicago where Sherwin will attend school. i Mrs. Delbert Smedley entertained entertain-ed Thursday of last week at the j home of "her mother, Mrs. C. E. i Merrill, in honor of two autumn j brides. Miss Gertie Johnson and Mrs. Florence Webb. The evening was spent playing Whist and a I dainty luncheon was served. The guests of honor were each presented pre-sented with a gift. Mrs. Oarl J. Johnson and daughter, daugh-ter, Miss Gertie Johnson entertained enter-tained with a trousseau tea at the Johnson home Thursday of last week from three until seven p.m. The Richmond ward held its annual frolic Saturday at the tabernacle lawn. A good spicy program pro-gram was rendered and refreshments refresh-ments served. Sports and games concluded the afternoons enter tainment and a dance was held in the evening. The Woman's Literary club met Wednesday at the club rooms with Mrs. H. S. Webb as hostess and Miss Bernice Rawlins of Lewiston reviewing the book "Charm" by Margery Wilson. The Misses Evelyn Eve-lyn and Verl Webb rendered piano and violin duets. The hostess sery-ed sery-ed refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. J.- W. Pulsipher returned Sunday from a three weeks trip to California. Mrs. Alma Spackman and Miss Waunetta Peterson left last week for a visit with relatives in Minneapolis, Min-neapolis, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Hendricks and family returned Tuesday from a two weeks trip to California. Misses Ada Peart and Mary Nelson Nel-son entertained Saturday evening of last week with a shower at the Peart home in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Atwood who were recently married. Mrs. Atwood was formerly Miss Susie Crockett. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Smedley who were married recently left Friday to make their home at Morgan, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clarke have moved to Logan.
