Show Under Ground Water Offices To Be Opened State Engineer T. H. Humpherys ; was in Logan Thursday .and announced an-nounced the opening of a temporary tem-porary office in the Cardon company com-pany offices, 112 North Main, to assist farmers of Cache county in makng claims for use of underground under-ground water rights. R. E. Redden, Red-den, assistant state engineer will be in charge of the office, with Reed German, chief deputy of the engineer's office, making monthly visits here. Mr. Humpherys said claims are to be filed in conformity with the 1936 underground water law, which goes into effect the first of the year. Any farmer who heretofore has been aising underground water j must make his claim to the state. |
