Show Andersen home in west Hyrum, Mr. and Mrs. Andersen are moving mov-ing to Ogden in the near future. of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Baxter who was thrown from a horse sometime ago on the cement high way, has been taken from the hospital hos-pital and removed to his home, he is recovering rapidly and will be able to be about again in a week or so. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Petersen, Peter-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Holman, Mr. and Mrs. Oelon Humphreys and families spent this week end vacationing in Blacksmith Pork canyon. Mr. and. Mrs. CarroL Miller haue just recently purchased the Joe HYRUM j The Hyrum Third ward choir members spent Wednesday afternoon after-noon and evening in Logan canyon can-yon on a picnic. Louis P. Maughan who is president of the choir, Wm. H. Terry and members of the choir are trying to get everyone who are interested in music to come out to practices. They expect ex-pect to put over many things along a imusical line during th3 coming season, if they can get the co-operation of . the ward members. Practice is held each Wednesday evening at 8 p. m. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kotter and daughters Lillian and Virginia of Brigham City were Hyrum visitors Tuesday. Descendants of the Christian Jensen family held their reunion at the Logan City Park, Sunday Sept. 1. There were 60 members of the family present. A program was the first feature of the days events, with members of the family fam-ily taking part, Mrs. T. W. Petersen Peter-sen of Hyrum was re-elected as president of the organization and Mrs. Alverta Leatham was reinstated rein-stated as secretary and treasurer, to officiate during the coming year. A delicious dinner was served serv-ed at 1 o'clock after which sports of all kinds were enjoyed including includ-ing a baseball game between the Jensen family and the Andrew family (who were also holding their reunion at the park). An enjoyable time was had by every one present. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Christof-fersen Christof-fersen of Salt Lake City are spending spend-ing this week end with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Christoffersen. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Mendenhall entertained a number of friends at their home Saturday evening. Bridge was enjoyed after which luncheon was served to guests. Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Petersen Peter-sen and daughters Luree and Laren of Salt Lake City were Hy- j rum visitors this week end. They attended the Christian-Jensen re-1 union also while here.
