Show North Logan - North Logan The Elders and their partners enjoyed a canyon party Wednesday evening at the city park in Logan canyon. The guests enjoyed a ball game, program pro-gram of singing, readings, and jokes. Refreshments were enjoyed by about 50 guests. The Prmary organization had a business meeting Tuesday afternoon after-noon planning their fall work. Mr .and Mrs. Bert Burrell and family attended the 73rd birthday anniversary of Mrs. Martha Burrell Bur-rell at Avon, Monday. The Clover 4-H club held then-meeting then-meeting Wednesday afternoon at the meeting house with Miss Eva Beutler in charge. The time was spent in sewing and cutting patterns. pat-terns. E., Nelson, Nel-son, Mr. and Mrs. James Nyman and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ormond; spent the week end in Logan1 canyon. j Miss Beth Holmgren returned! home Monday to Bear River City after spending the week gluest of Mr. and Mrs. Wk E. Nyman. Harvey Maughan, mciored to Burley, Idaho and spent the week end. Messrs Ross Hancey, Merral Nyman and Leon Ferguson spent the week end in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Jack Shipley and family returned home to Los Angeles the week end after spending a month guests of Mr. and Mrs Lee Ferguson. Friday at 9 o'clock a. m. a preschool pre-school clinic was conducted in the North Logan school with a lodal physician, dentist and nurse in attendance 10 pre-school children child-ren were examined. Russell Maugnan and Mont Nyman are recovering from a tonsil operation. , Mr. and Mrs. Heber Olsen spent the week end at Malad. Darrell Palmer and Miss Elva Palmer spent Monday at Salt Lake City. Misses Marietta and Mar.iorie Nyman and Rodney Nyman spent the week end at Salt Lake City. Henry Peterson of Cowley Wyoming Wyo-ming spent the week end guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Nyman. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Cronquist and children spent Sunday at Wellsville. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra J. Palmer entertained at a family dinner Sunday in honor of their sons Darrel and Revier, prior to their departure for Salt Lake City and Elgin, Nevada where they are engaged en-gaged in teaching school during the coming season. Miss Susanna Hinckley of Sali Lake City and Mrs. Velma Martin Mar-tin of Malad were the out of town guests. Covers were laid for 12 guests. The Seagull class of the primary, pri-mary, under the leadership of Mrs. W. E. Nyman are spending the week end in Logan canyon. |
