Show WORK RESUMED AT SPERRY FLOUR MILL; AGREEMENT WITH UNIONS IS REPORTED; PRESIDENT IS COMING Operations wero resumed at the Sperry Flour mill this morning It is unofficially stated that the flour company is hiring men on a closed shop basis. SLxty men were working at the plant this morning and it iaj reported that former workers will bo taken back on applying at the mill. By Monday a full crew is expected. Indications point to an agreement having been reached between mill officials of-ficials and union leaders, who called the strike when the "American Plan" posters were tacked around the plant, a month ago. Unions of tho Building Build-ing Trades council havo been meeting tho past few days on the local building- situation. It is understood that both, sides agreed to certain concessions, one "of which, was reported ty be that though tho mill was still a member of the Utah Associated Industries the "Amer-rican "Amer-rican Plan" posters would no longer be displayed ' at tho planL No Information regarding how many men were working was divulged by officials at the plant, but others on the Job claimed that about 60 men had started to work. About 200 men will soon be working at the plant, it Is stated. At the plant offices, It was stated that an agreement agree-ment between employers and employes had been reached. Tho orders for perfecting per-fecting tho agreement came from San Francisco. No Intimation as to what the agreement amounted to was made public. Unofficial statements of union workers work-ers were that tho change of attitude of the mills indicated that the men who walked out had attained their objective, ob-jective, their walkout being directly against the "closed shop" idea. G. B. Flack, local manager of the Sperry Flour company, is now- en route to Ogden from Wells, Nov., where he went to meet John H.
