Show uu Two Divisions Organized; Forfeitures For-feitures Must Be in by May 27 A largely attended meeting of Weber We-ber county baseball fans gathered last night at the offices of the Weber county farm bureau in the Federal building and perfected the organization organiza-tion of the Weber County Baseball league. A constitution for the two divisions of the leaguo was submitted and approved, ap-proved, and the officers of A division were elected as follows: A. W. Marriott, Mar-riott, Warren, president; Josiah Fer-rin, Fer-rin, Eden, vice-president; H. L. Jensen, Jen-sen, Pleasant View, secretary and treasurer; The teams to play in the A division are Huntsville, Eden, Liberty, Pleasant Pleas-ant View, Fan West, Plain City, Iloopor, Clinton and South Weber! The officers of JB division are: A. J. Taylor, county boys and girls club leader, president; S- C. Hadley, Taylor, Tay-lor, vice-president; G. A. Wheeler, Slaterville, secretary and treasurer. Tho teams of this division are Slaterville, Slater-ville, Taylor, Kanesville, Warren, State Industrial School, Plain City and Hooper. R. M. Steel, of the State Industrial school, O. V. Belnap, Slaterville;, T. W. Petersen, Kanesville, were ele'eted members at large of the executive committee. Thursday, May 27, is the date set by which forfeitures must reach the secretary-treasurers ""of the two divisions, divi-sions, and it is expected that the schedule of games will be published Saturday, May 29. |
