Show METHODISTS ELECT I PUBLISHING AGENTS DES MOINES, May 20 Two of the threo publishing agents of tho Methodist Metho-dist Episcopal church wore elected at 'the general conference today on the first ballot. Those elected are Dr. John R. Race, now in charge of the publishing house I of the church at Cincinnati; and Dr. 1 E. R. Graham, new publishing agent at Now York City. Dr. H. L. Jacobs and H. H. Hughes are running close. The first ballot for the corresponding correspond-ing secretaries of tho various boards of the church brought about the election elec-tion of all tho secretaries, although in some cases there were a large number of candidates. The secretaries eleced follow: Board of foreign missions: Frank Mason North and S. Earl Taylor, both of New York; board of homo missions and church extension: David D. Forsyth, For-syth, Philadelphia; board of education, A. W. Harris, Chicago; board of Sunday Sun-day schools: W. S. Bovard, Chicago; board of conference claimants: J. B. Hingloy, Chicago; board of Ep worth league: Chaso Guthrie, Chicago; Froedmen's Aid society: I. Garland Penn, P. J. Maveety, Philadelphia. Tho program tonight was a celebration celebra-tion of the anniversary of the Ep-worth Ep-worth league. Addresses were delivered deliv-ered by Bishop Adna W.
