Peter Geb-hart, Geb-hart, 65 years of age, narrowly escaped es-caped death yesterday when ho was caught- and nearly buried under earth j which caved in at Fifth North and j First West streets. Gebhart was lay-1 ing water mains when the bank of earth fell upon him. He was removed ;t the city emergency hospital, where jit was found he had sustained a frac-j frac-j lure of tho right arm, as well as painful pain-ful bruises over the body.
