Show A PLEASANT AFFAIR I The Sheet and PilloivQa PartY i Given by iTtisses Harkness and I Sprague Last Evening j Miss Harkness and Miss Sprague gave j I a sheet and pillowcase party at the home I I of the former on South Temple Street I last evening which proved a brilliant I opening for the society events oi the corning corn-ing season and a most delightful affair I i in every respect i i The party assembled at about S oclock 1 I and before entering the parlors each one was enveloped in a sheet and masked I I with a pillow case M Bancroft Mrs 1 Bennett and Mrs Sprague formed themselves them-selves into a reception committee and I I also took charge of the shrouding and masking I The early part of the evening was I spent in dancing in disguise and at about I 110 i I oclock the party unmasked and dancing I I danc-ing was continued Refreshments were I I I then served and the rest of the evening I was spent in the pleasantest of conversa spnt II tions The affair was in all respects a I I perfect success and will prove the nucleus f from which will grow a score of such I pleasant events during the winter j I The company consisted the following j named ladies and gentlemen Miss Belle I I Anderson Miss Blanche Kimball f f Hewlett Mr Dodge Mr Brastow Miss i I > Mina Daft Miss Emma Walker Miss > Rose Daft Mr Smith T Pendergast Miss Crawford Miss Marie Mason Mr Neidringhaus rr Chislett Mr Frank Tan Horn MiSo yoimby Miss Ora Hark ness Mr Sprague Miss Harkness Miss Sprague Mrs Bennett Mrs Bancroft M Sprague Mr Eccles and Mr H C I Wallace |
