Show October 21st UP&L official to address Chamber of Commerce lunch I BOUNTIFUL John A. Bohling, assistant vice president of commercial operations for Utah Power and Light, will be speaking to the membership luncheon of the Bountiful Area Chamber of Commerce Com-merce on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at noon. The public is invited to the luncheon at Servus Drug in Bountiful. Boun-tiful. Elected assistant vice president in 1984, Mr. Bohling manages UP&L's Utah utilities, the company's com-pany's largest state area, which includes in-cludes customer-oriented operations. opera-tions. He assists Verl Topham, senior vice president and commercial commer-cial manager, in the commercial department's strategic planning function and works actively with municipal governments, especially in the areas of transmitting and wheeling electricity. He joined the firm in 1962, and has served in a variety of engineering engineer-ing and managerial positions. He was named manager of the Salt Lake Division in 1983, and appointed head of Utah Utilities in 1985. Mr. Bohling holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Utah, and a master's in business administration from the University of Delaware. An avid cyclist, Mr. Bohling JOHN A. BOHLING rides a bicycle 20 miles a day, to and from his office. He is a family man, spends time gardening and is involved in church activities. |
