T IMI STA li AS POPPY DAY poppy day comes this year on saturday may ard 3rd and the american legion of san juan county is making preparations to raise money to help them in their relief work by selling them on that day the Auxillia auxiliary ry will be out in force that day and all should help them to the extent of own ability the poppies are 9 re made by disabled veterans and from the money received from their sale this year depends the livelihood of man many y of these men who gave their all to save the nation in the world war they do not ask a lot from any person but if all would give a little they would have enough to employ many men making more for next year this is a very worthy cause and all should help as their lin financial ancial condition allows
