Show Fifty four Break Game Laws in Past Two Weeks People continue to hunt and fish out of season and against the law, wardens continue to apprehend these violators, and judges continue to assess fines. And the fines taken in by the state continue to grow. This was the observation made today by Chief Deputy Merrill Hand of the game department de-partment as he announced that 54 people have paid fines for game violations in the past two weeks. Many of the reports just reaching the department offices are for waterfowl and deer violations, vio-lations, the reports having been . help up pending paper work on tl.e c; -iQ. Fines, it was observed, are be- coming more severe all the time. "We are gradually getting fines up to where it is making the poacher take a little notice," Mr. Hand said. |
