Show S. H. Lions Give Unit to Local Police The Sugar House police force will have a new first aid emergency emer-gency squad in a short time and the Sugar House Lions will help materially in seeing to it that they are equipped properly. In a civic-minded action, members of the Sugar House Lions Club went on record to give the department sufficient funds for resuscitator equipment equip-ment of the ambulance unit. Cost of the equipment, according accord-ing to Lincoln T. Hansen, chairman chair-man of the Lions' civic improvement im-provement committee, will be approximately $250. The equipment is three machines ma-chines in one: resusitator, ex-pirator ex-pirator and inhaler. Mr. Hansen Han-sen explained that the equipment equip-ment is in Salt Lake and will be installed "in ' about two weeks." "The Lions' check is ready right now," he said. Members assisting Mr. Han-se Han-se on his committee are Mel Cayton and George Aposhian. Decision to offer the money to the police department was announced after Lions directors' meeting Monday night. I |
