Show Crowds Attend S. H. Stake Conf Crowds filled the hall to capacity ca-pacity last Sunday at Sugar House Stake quarterly conference. confer-ence. Elder Harold B. Lee, of the Council of the Twelve, brought a special message to all. Sharing the time with Elder Lee on the morning session were President Elbert R. Curtis and President Ernest A. Nelson. Marjorie Watson and Hjalmar T. Oscarspn, recently returned missionaries gave short mission reports. Music for the morning session was furnished by the Sugar House Ward choir, directed di-rected by Walter Roberts. At the evening session, A. William Lund, stake patriarch and assistant Church historian, spoke, as did Mrs. Vauna Jac-obsen, Jac-obsen, stake Relief Society president and President Elbert R. Curtis. Ruth Egli, recently returned missionary, spoke also. Marlborough Ward choir, directed by Alvin Baker, furnished furn-ished music in the evening meeting. |
