The Farmers Home Administration Adminis-tration office in Roosevelt, reports re-ports that Duchesne County has been approved for disaster loans to farmers and ranchers who have suffered losses caused by flood conditions this spring, or who yet suffer flood losses. Those people who are unable to secure sufficient credit suitable suit-able to their needs may apply for financing to the Farmers Home Administration office at Roosevelt for any of the following follow-ing needs, providing losses were suffered because of flood damage. dam-age. 1. The purchase of feed, seed fertilizer, insecticides, and fuel : for tractors, and fox other essential es-sential farm and home operat ing expenses. 2, Purchase of livestock. 1 3 Purchase of orchard and citrus nursery stock. 4. Purchase of farm and home equipment, or the repair thereof. there-of. 5. Replacement or repair of buildings, fences, drainage and irrigation systems on individual farms. 6. The leveling of land and the clearing of debris therefrom necessary as a direct result of the disaster. 7. Payment of current taxes o'n real and personal property, j water charges, and current interest in-terest on real estate obligations where it appears that anticipated anticipat-ed income will support such obligations. ob-ligations. 8. Other agricultural purposes not inconsistent with the limi tations set forth in connection with any of the above purposes. Disaster loans will not be mado for the purpose of refinancing existing debts, either secured o-unsecured, o-unsecured, or for the payment of cash rent on crop land. |
