Show Mildred Tanner ; Weds Bill Boren Mr. and Mrs. David Tanner announce the marriage of their daughter, Mildred, to Bill Boren Bor-en A3c, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Boren, of Vernal. The marriage mar-riage was solemnized in Vernal, - Saturday, May 17, with Earl J. Freeman officiating. The bride is a student at Union Un-ion High School, class of 1952. The groom is stationed at Lowry Air Force Base near Denver, Colo. The new Mrs. Boren will remain re-main here with her parents until un-til after her graduation on May 23, then will join her husband at his station in Colorado. FRIDAY BRIDGE Mrs. Homer Robinson was hostess to the Friday Bridge Club at her home Friday afternoon after-noon Her guest list included ' Mrs. 'W. H. Linck, Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. Rex Lamb. Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. Joseph Wolf and Mrs. Ted Thomas. High score prize was won by Mrs. Lott. Visitors at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Call during dur-ing the past two weeks were Mrs. Joyce Semken and her three children, of Price. 1 Mrs. Lydia Peatross left last week for Provo where she will care for her grandchildren while their mother, Mrs. Carlos Roberts Rob-erts is hospitalized in Salt Lake City after undergoing an operation oper-ation Friday. J. W. Jenson is again making his home in Myton after having spent several months at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Haskell, Has-kell, in Redondo Beach, Calif Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson Robin-son enjoyed a visit last week from their son, Max, and his fiapcee, Miss Peggy Madsen. They have returned to Denver where they are employed. The couple plans a late May wedding wed-ding at the home of the parents of the bride-to-be in Worland, Wyoming. Mrs. F a r r e 1 1 Purcell and daughter, Valerie, came from Logan last week for a short visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas, Sr. The group visited Sunday in Salt Lake City wjth Ted Thomas, Jr., who recently returned from service in the U. S. Navy stationed in the Korean area. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Krause, of Window Rock, Arizona, visited vis-ited Mrs. Krause's mother, Mrs. Lydia Peatross, last week. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gingell were Mrs. Gingell's daughters and son-in-law, Miss Lois Davis, Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Jolley and son, Bennie, and Mrs. Effie Mercer, Mer-cer, of Salt Lake City. |
