Show Earl Rasmussen Injured In Tractor Mishap An almost tragedy occurred in the family of Farrell Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen when their son, Earl, received re-ceived serious facial injuries May 16, sustained-when a tractor trac-tor he was driving overturned with him. As the tractor turned over Earl received the impact of the machine on his face He was attempting to climb a hill when the accident occurred. Earl was rushed, to the Roosevelt Roos-evelt LDS Hospital by Myron Haslem, of Bennett, who was the first one to reach him. After Af-ter being treated by physicians at Roosevelt, he was rushed to a Salt Lake hospital, where his condition is reported as fair. Mr. and Mrs. Laddie Timothy and Mrs. Ora Campbell, of Kaysville, were callers at the home of Mr and Mrs. Russel Todd on Friday. They are all former members of the Ballard Bal-lard Ward. Mrs. Keith Snyder and family fam-ily of Altonah, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs Charles Bingham on Monday Mrs. Jesse Butcher entertained entertain-ed James Butcher, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Baumgaertel and fam ily, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Beck-stead Beck-stead and two sons, Sanford Butcher and Miss Mildred ' SChoneholtz, of Harrisburg, Nebraska,' Ne-braska,' on Mother's Day. Miss JoAnn Todd will be employed em-ployed at the Huish Drug Store during the summer months. She is working there now on Saturdays. Sat-urdays. Mr. and Mrs. James Collins. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Collins and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Collinr,. of Salt Lake City, visited wit'.i their mother, Mrs. Mary Collins, on Mother's Day. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Betts and Mr. and Mrs. Golden Collins also joined the family gathering. Mrs. Ada Pickup, of Randlett and Mrs Richard O'Neil and four children, of Price, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Kettle on Monday of Mr, and Mrs. Issac Ross have moved into their home, recently completed just west of the R. W. Barn. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond El-dredge El-dredge have begun construction of a new home on , their farm near their present residence. The following Ballard students stu-dents graduated from Seminary in commencement exercises held Sunday evening at the Roosevelt Stake Chapel: Arlin Bellon, Marilyn Brighton. Robert Rob-ert Chapoose. Gary Gardner, Jay Gates, Clifton Jenkins, Robert Rob-ert Stolla and JoAnn Todd Sanford Butcher, who is stationed sta-tioned at Ft.. Knox, Kentucky, has enjoyed a short furlough at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Butcher. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Miller, of - Springville, called Sunday morning morn-ing at the home of Mrs. Miller':? daughter, Mrs. Jack Cook. - Arthur Wiscombe and son Cloyd, of Provo, visited in Ballard Bal-lard Saturday evening and attended at-tended Sunday School and Sacrament Sac-rament meeting the following day.
