Show Symphony Tickets Go On Sale Monday You can buy tickets for the 1955-56 Utah Symphony season on the installment plan. Tickets for the coming symphony sym-phony series will be on sale Monday Mon-day at the symphony office, 55 West First South, Salt Lake City and you can get them for a small down payment, according to David S. Romney, managing director. To make it easy for everyone to secure tickets, arrangements have been made for music followers follow-ers to pick out the seats of their choice and then pay for them in installments between now and November 2, when the 1955 season sea-son opens. "It's an easy way to pay for tickets, and we hope a lot of people will take advantage of the plan," reports Mr. Romney. The season will be the 16th for the Utah Symphony and the ninth for the popular maestro, Maurice Abravanel, conductor and director of the orchestra. Utah's great orchestra and outstanding out-standing conductor will again present pre-sent some of the world's greatest artists with Jascha Heifetz, Jose Iturbi, Grant Johannesen and Isaac StenT scheduled as guest soloists. In addition to the regular tickets tick-ets two special sections are being reserved for students at special rates. Reservation also can be made for the student tickets, reports re-ports Mr. Romney. |
