Show HONEY BEES ROOSEVELT The Honey Bee 4-H Club met Friday, June 18, at the home of the leader, Mrs. Maude Anderson. The meeting was called to order by the president, presi-dent, Maxine Timothy, and prayer was by Jean Todd. Kay Anderson led the singing and Wilma Whitehead White-head read the minutes. Eleven members and one visitor, vis-itor, Carol Ann Burdick, were present. Plans were made for the encampment en-campment in Uinta Canyon on July 27, with Linda Jensen, Barbara Bar-bara Larson and Maxine Timothy appointed in charge of the food; and Elva Young, Wilma Whitehead, White-head, Kay Anderson and Donna Bircher in charge of the camping equipment. Refreshments were served by Kay Anderson and Linda Jensen, h-h-h-h ROOSEVELT We met Friday, July 1, at the home of our leader, Maude Anderson. Meeting was called to order by our president Maxine Timothy; prayer, Wilma Whitehead; song, "America The Beautiful," led by Fay Anderson. We all talked about health habits. Sally Jo Anderson gave a demonstration dem-onstration of threading a needle. We worked on our sewing kits Most of us have finished our sewing kits and started our skirts. There were nine present and two excused. Kay and Sally Jo sang "Old Shep." Seven-up floats were .served by Donna Bircher and Elva Young. Prayer was given by Barbara Larson. Lar-son. , Rose Mary Smith Reporter h-h-h-h HOMEMAKERS ! BRIDGELAND We held our 4-H meeting at the home of Edna Nielsen Monday, June 27. We made orange toast and cocoa. Members present were Colleen Fitzgerald, Donna Ann Stansfield, Karren Liddell and a visitor Lynda Fitzgerald; our leader, Alice Bean and Helen Nielsen. Meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m. Karren Liddell Reporter h-h-h-h STITCHING UP TROUBLE" ALTONAH Peggy Ralph, our president, called the meeting to order. Opening prayer was offered offer-ed by Joyce Reay. Mary Ann Reay led us in the Pledge of Allegiance Al-legiance to the Flag; Joyce Reay, our song leader, led us in "America, "Amer-ica, as opening song. We had a long work day. We got a lot done on our project. Towards To-wards the end of the meeting root beer floats were served. The meeting was held at the' home of Mrs. Jeane Lambert, Those attending the meeting were teachers, Mrs. Nada Murray, Mrs. Jeane Lamber, Mary Ann Reay, Peggy Ralphs, Joyce Reay, Mary Ann Riley and Norita Bowden. We had a swell time. Norita Bowden Reporter h-h-h-h NIMBLE FINGERS The Nimble Fingers club met at the home of our leader, Dorene Gomnii Our song leader, Lois Fenn, led us in some songs. We worked on our projects which are hot pads and hot pad holders. Most of us completed our note holder. Marie Peterson gave a demonstration demon-stration on how to dust with a cloth, and our leader gave a demonstration de-monstration on dusting with a vacuum cleaner. Plans were made to' have a slumber party at the home of our leader on July 6th. We were served milk fruit nog, made by Rosemary Shields, Karen Daybelle and Noreen Young. Marie Peterson Reporter h-h-h-h BUSY STITCHERS ROOSEVELT The Busy Stitch-esr Stitch-esr 4-H Club met Wednesday, June 29, at the home of Darlene Huxford, with Elva Broderick, vice-president, in charge of the meeting. Darlene gave a demonstration demon-stration on fitting and Mary Blaine a demonstration on a flat fell seam. Refreshments were served by the hostess. h-h-h-h FASHIONETTES BLUEBELL Carolyn Goodrich Good-rich called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. June Powell opened the meeting with prayer. Songs were sung with Rita Powell leading, lead-ing, Daphine Lisonbee led us in the pledge of the two flags. Meeting Meet-ing adjourned at 4:10 p.m. with closing prayer, then we all enjoyed swimming in James Powell's pond. June Powell Reporter h-h-h-h HOMEMAKERS ROOSEVELT The Roosevelt Homemakers met at the home of Joan Zimmerman, Tuesday at 9:30. Ann Murphy called the meeting to order and Laura Leavitt led in some songs. The pledges were said, the holl was called and the business matters were brought up. Assignments were given to Linda Schmiett and Joan Zimmerman, after which Marilyn Winterton gave the entertainment. Demonstrations Demon-strations were given by Nadine Ottosen and Joan Zimmerman.
