Show I MORRILL SPEAKS AT FIRESIDE A Fireside Chat was held after' Sacrament meeting Sunday, June 26 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Golden Winn. Davis Morrill, of Tridell, was the speaker. Light I refreshments were served to 25 guests. j Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Young and children, of Randlett, were visitors vis-itors of Mrs. Young's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmussen, and family. Art Taylor was a Vernal visitor vis-itor Monday. Mrs. Mary Jarrell accompanied him back home. She was a guest from Thursday to Monday at her niece's home, Mr. and Mrs. Babe Vernon, and family of Maeser. Clark Walker, of Midvale, is spending his vacation with his uncle and aunt, . Bishop and Mrs. J. Walker and family. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Davis and baby, of Nine Mile, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Rick and children, of Rangely, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Rich and Charles Jelett, of Gypsum, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Rich and family, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Massey and children of Vernal, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Huber and family and attended the funeral of their grandfather, Robert Alexander. Alex-ander. Joyce Labrum is visiting her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn, of Boise, Idaho. Twila Labrum is spending her vacation with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Labrum, of Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. June Woolley was a visitor vis-itor in Roosevelt, Tuesday. Mrs. Phoebe Horrocks and family fam-ily have moved to Craig, Colo., where Mr. Horrocks has employment employ-ment in the oil fields. Mrs. Margaret Rye, of Maeser, and two sons, her mother and sister sis-ter and her husband of Minnesota were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sike Thompson, recently. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Walker and family were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leo Walker and family, of Davis ward in Vernal recently. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Horrocks were in Craig, Colo, and returned home by way of Meeker and Rangely, last Thursday. Mrs. Alice White and girls, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Horrocks went to Salt Lake City Monday morning. 1 Mrs. Pearless Taylor is in Salt , Lake City visiting her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Richens and getting ac-i ac-i quainted with her granddaughter. Mrs. Sarah Norton received word Mrs. Lambert, who is in the General Hospital in Salt Lake City, is no better. Ricky Kelbough, of Boise, Ida,, and Edna Gagon, of Salt Lake I City, are visiting their grandpar-: grandpar-: ents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Mow- rey. Doyle and Margaret Huber were visitors of their sister, Mr. and Mrs. Berlin Jensen, of Brigham City. Margaret stayed to help care for her sister's home, while 1 she is in the hospital with a new baby, and Doyle returned home last Thursday. |
