Show 4-H CLUB NEWS The Happy Cookers 4-H Club met at the ward chapel, Thursday, June 23, at 4:30 p.m. They made apricot milk shakes and egg salad sandwiches. I Mrs. Mammie Rasmussen and Mrs. Sarah Norton attended the shower for Elva Wilson of Tridell last week. A Farm Youth Exchange Student Stu-dent from Rangoon, Burma, Mr. Maung K0K0, will spend 6 weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Angus and family. He is married and has a wife and child. He will go from Mr. Angus' to Mr. and Mrs. Don Nielson of Ballard. JeNeil Harrison is visiting with Velma Pickup of Randlett for a week. Johnny Lambert came home Friday from Salt Lake City and reports Mrs. Lambert is not better. The men's ball team of Glines ward of Vernal, played Lapoint ward Thursday evening in Vernal. The game ended 8 to 4 in favor of Lapoint. Lapoint girls defeated Vernal Fourth ward 24-2, the previous night. |
