Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark, of! Vernal, spent the weekend, June 25, with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Powell. Mr. and Mrs, Verl Ols.en and family, of Price, were weekend guests of Mr. Olsen's brother, Ed, and family. j E. L. Murphy, of Upalco, was a visitor in Sunday School and a speaker in Sacrament meeting, Sunday, June 26th. Mr. and Mrs. Delos Bird and son, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bird and son, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Linford Maxfield, TOOELE VISITORS Ted Snyder, of Tooele, spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder, and sister, Mrs. Gerald Ger-ald Jacobson and family. Jane Jacobson returned with him as far as Salt Lake City to spend a week with her cousin, Gloria Oman. Gloria also returned to her home in Salt Lake after spending a week with Jane. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Foote and daughter and some friends of Salt Lake City, stopped to visit with Mrs. Foote's brothers, Dallas, Clenty and Glen Ames, Sunday, June 26th on their way home from a fishing trip at Moon Lake. Bonnie Oman, of Boneta, was visiting at the George Carrol home a few days during the week. Mr, and Mrs. Lester Maxfield took Errol Gardner to Myton Saturday, Sat-urday, June 25th, to catch the bus for his home in Salt Lake City, after af-ter spending several weeks, with Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Murray. Janet Brotherson, of Boneta, is staying with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Morris. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel were visiting in Lapoint Sunday, June 26th. Willard Bowden arrived home Monday, June 27th from Garden City, Idaho, to visit his parents, Mr. 'and Mrs, Clinton Bowden. He returned to his work Wednesday. VACATION IN CALIFORNIA Mr. and Mrs. Jesse A. Fowler accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Mike Christensen, of Boneta, on a trip to California and other places to visit relatives and the country. Word was received last week of the birth of a 3i2 lb. baby boy to Mr. and Mrs. Charley Dump, of Powell, Wyo. This is their second boy, Charley is a former resident resi-dent of Altonah and a brother to Leon Dump. Mr. and Mrs. Med Allred and family of Dragerton were visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Dru Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allred during the week. Chubb Reay left for Evanston, I Wyo. Wednesday, to attend the funeral of Don Forebush. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Snyder and family, of Salt Lake City, and Robert Snyder and a friend of Springville, spent a few days with their mother, Mrs, Elva Snyder, during the week. Joe Bates, of Heber, was visiting visit-ing at the home of Milton Anderson Ander-son during the week. Mrs. Wm. Ralphs made a trip to Lehi and Salt Lake City, Monday. |
