Show Socialette Fetes Culture Club At Dinner Party A feeling of spring was evident evi-dent at the banquet held at the Frontier Grill last Friday evening, eve-ning, when Socialette members complimented Culture Club members at a special party, with 52 in attendance. A demonstration on how to make and wear hats was given by Mrs. Paul Lunt of Vernal. Miniature hats served as favors for each guest and a basket of spring blooms, including heather, heath-er, stocks and daffodils centered center-ed the table. A . vocal solo was sung by Miss Esther Wogec, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Lorin Alexander, and piano solos were played by Laura Ann Leavitt. Mrs. Peter Anderson, Uintah Basin district mother of the year, and Mrs. Lon Logan, district dis-trict president of the Federated Women's Club, were special guests. The committee in charge of the social affair included Mrs. 1 Don Truman, Mrs. Burr Eld-redge Eld-redge and Mrs. Ed Richman. |
