Show Wardrobe Modeled By Miss Duchesne County Culture Club members met last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Frank Yack,- who entertained with Mrs. LaRue Laris as co-hostess. co-hostess. Mrs. Kenneth Morgan, vice-president, took charge of the meeting. The 20-inch Toni doll, and her complete wardrobe made by club members, were displayed by Mrs. Laris, chairman for the project The doll, wardrobe and trunk will be given to the lucky winner on Dec. 8. Tickets may be purchased from any club member. Highlight of the evening was the fashion revue, which featured Miss VaLoy Reynolds modeling her wardrobe worn in the Miss Utah State Fair contest, in which she represented the county as Miss Duchesne County. Eight complete outfits were modeled by Miss Reynolds, Rey-nolds, with Mrs. Dick Bastian as commentator and Mrs. Parley Raw-lings Raw-lings as accompanist. Plans were discussed for the Thanksgiving party to be held for members and their husbands Nov. 29 at the home of Mrs: Bill. Mur-dock. Mur-dock. Assisting Mrs. Murdock will be Mrs. Corwin Larbrum and Mrs. J Kenneth Labrum. Pumpkin pie and spiced cider were served by the hostesses. A special guest was Mrs. Richard an. |
