Show School News The Elementary school has started start-ed its yearly Christmas Card sales drive. This year prizes are being offered each student as an incentive in-centive to do their utmost to swell the fund for extra school equipment. equip-ment. Last year the sale of Christmas Christ-mas cards helped to finance the buying of a piece of playground equipment, "The Ocean Wave." Each child selling three boxes will be given a ten cent savings stamp, and each child selling four boxes will receive a 250 stamp. Top salesmen in each room will win a prize and a grand prize will be awarded the , hard working youngster who sells the most cards in the school. ' The 7th grade will present their assembly Wednesday, Nov. 21. All parents and interested persons are invited. The Jr. High band will accompany the audiance in singing, sing-ing, "America." A Thanksgiving Hymn, "Over the River and Through The Woods," will be sung. Jan Farnswoth will, give a reading; Linda Thacker and Bonnie Ann Oman will sing a duet after which a one-act play will be presented, pre-sented, entitled, "What No Venison?" Veni-son?" by the following students: Rex Hanburg, Kirk Larsen, Brent Brotherson, Lloyd Miles, Bonnie Ann Oman, Glenna Iorg, Linda Thacker and Delores Clark. |
