Show nillTEROCKS Madeena Smith RELIEF SOCIETY CONFERENCE Ward Relief Society conference was held Sunday night. Speakers were President Verna . Hoops, Betty Bolton, Madeena Smith and Bishop Morrill. Sister Ann Murray, the Stake officer, gave instructions for the stake singing by the singing mothers. Mrs. Lynn Hardy took a group of MIA girls -to dance practice in Roosevelt Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Ellingford took their little son Tommy to Salt Lake City Thursday where they had his tonsils removed. He is doing fine. . The Petro Farakus family of Salt Lake City visited the J. O. Hoops family over the weekend. TRUCKS TIP OVER As Preston Mitchell of Neola was coming off the Farm Creek Mountain Wednesday, he came to a slick turn and tipped his truck load of lumber over in the snow. J A few minutes later Don Rose tipped his truck load of logs over on top of the lumber. No one was hurt; nor was there much damage to the trucks. A quilting party was held at the Stanley Hoops home Thursday. Thurs-day. Mrs. Mildred Moosman, Zella Pike, Murle Moosman, Wilma and Dorothy Robb, Larena Noble, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith and Edith Oberhansly attended school at Union Wednesday, parents' day. Mrs. Ednal Simmons took MIA girls, Lorna and Betty Oberhansly, Terrell Smith, Margie Robb, Catherine Cath-erine Hall, Theda Houston and Val Robb to the stake fireside chat Sunday evening in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith took a load of honey to Lehi and visited visit-ed in Salt Lake City Saturday. A party was held Saturday night for the out-going Bishoprics, Gilbert Gil-bert Ellingford, Elbert Smith and Vergil Robb and Bishop Haslem and wife of the Bennett ward. These men , were presented with the three-intone combination Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Coven-i Coven-i ants and Pearl of Great Price. Dancing was enjoyed.
