Show BIRTHDAY DINNER HELD Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison and his parents, of Salt Lake City, were entertained at a birthday birth-day dinner last Sunday at the Clifford Olsen home in honor of Deatha Olsen. The afternoon was spent in playing games: Mrs. Patra Olsen served a ' lovely dinner last Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Harold Whiting and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dellis Spencer Spenc-er and family and Mrs. Howard Powell and two small children of Duchesne. Miss Melody Lynn Riggle celebrated cele-brated her 10th birthday last Friday Fri-day evening, entertaining nine of her school girls chums. They enjoyed en-joyed hamburgers and pop at the cafe, then attended the theatre. They were accompanied by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Riggle. Miss Dorothy Peterson spent a couple of days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Peterson. She returned to Salt Lake City where she is employed. Squire Mangum was rushed to the hospital last week with a severe case of asthma. Word was received here by relatives rela-tives that Mrs. Don Feildsted is in the hospital in Provo with a new baby girl. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Harrison left for Fairview last week to visit her folks a short time, planning plan-ning to stop at Provo on their return to see Mr. and Mrs. Don Horrocks and boys. ' Mrs. Lila McMullin of Roosevelt spent a short time at the home of her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Horrocks. A few days ago Lavell and Victor Horrocks, Ther-on's Ther-on's brothers, of Salt Lake City visited with him last week. Mr. and Mrs. Don Horrocks of Provo were also Sunday visitors at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Horocks. Don is enrolled at the BYU. The Little son of Mr. and Mrs. EIRay Dnucan got his finger caught in the fan of the stoker-matic stoker-matic heater. He had to have several stitches taken in his finger. Mrs. Clara Burr and family ot Granger are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daze Mitchell. Weekend visitors at the home f Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Duncan were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Larsen Lar-sen and small daughters. They also spent some time at his par-ents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Mills went to Ogden for the weekend, return-mg return-mg home Monday. Ferris Henrie and family made a trip to Salt Lake City last week where he could receive aid for his eyes. They returned Sunday Sun-day evening. |
