Show Duveromy Chapter Elects (lew Officers Tuesday At a regular meeting of Duveromy Chapter No. 17, Order of Eastern Star, election of officers took place and degrees were conferred con-ferred on several new members. Worthy matron, Mrs. Larry Phillips, and the worthy patron, Ted Hatch, both of Vernal, presided. pre-sided. Elected as the new worthy matron was Mrs. Dean Voorhies, and as worthy patron, Ross Sly, both of VernaJ. The slate of officers of-ficers named fo serve with them are: associate matron, Mrs. Ted Hatch, Vernal;, associate patron, Harold Reader, Vernal; secretary, Mrs. Nellie Jones, Dudhesne; treasurer, trea-surer, Mrs. Helen Hancock, Roosevelt; Roose-velt; conductress, Mrs. Bjorn Wry, Vernal;, associate conductress, Mrs. Robert Ferron, Roosevelt; and the three-year trustee, Ted Hatch of Vernal. Following the election and business busi-ness meeting, a luncheon was served to the forty-three present by the following hostesses: Mrs. D. G. Roberts, Mrs. Dean Voorhies, Voor-hies, Mrs. Larry Phillips, all of Vernal, and Mrs. Sadie Blank of Neola. |
