Show TACTFUL TAILORS ROOSEVELT The Tactful Tailors 4-H Club met Thursday, June 16th, 2:30 p.m. at the home of Nadine Chugg. Meeting was called to order by President Nadine Na-dine Chugg. Minutes and roll call were presented by Ida Andrews, secretary. A health talk on Better Grooming was given by Nadine Mrs. Erma Anderton, our club leader, gave a demonstration on s.tayline stitching. Projects for the year were discussed. Those present pres-ent were: Ida Andrews, Patsy Daybell, Malinda Young and Nadine Na-dine Chugg. Meeting was adjourned adjourn-ed and refreshments-served. Nadine Chugg Reporter h-h-h-h ALTONAH The Altonah 4-H Club officers are: Peggy Ralphs, president; Mary Ann Reay, vice-president; vice-president; Marilyn Young, secretary; secre-tary; Norita Bowden, reporter; Mary Ann Riley, Glenna Iorg, entertainment en-tertainment committee; and Joyce Reay, song leader. We held our first meeting June 22, 1955 at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Jeane Lambert. Our leaders lead-ers are Mrs. Nada Murray and Mrs. Jeane Lambert. Mary Ann Riley called the meeting to order. We selected "Stitching Up Trouble" for the club name and decided on the projects we're going to make during dur-ing the year. After the meeting, our teachers and group went swimming, h-h-h-h BUSY SEW & SEWS IOKA The Busy Sew & Sews from . Ioka, met at the home of their leader, Verona Foote. Following Fol-lowing the general procedure there .was a demonstration on how to fit, lay and cut a pattern, after which a work period was held where the girls worked on their projects. Later refreshments were served to the following mem- bers: Ila Vaye Lemon, Marcia Lemon, LaVallene Donegon, Joyce Zobell and Mrs. Foote. On June 24, the Busy Sew & Sews met at the home of Mrs. Foote at 2:00 p.m. Following the general procedure a work period was held, where the girls worked on their projects. Later refreshments refresh-ments were served to the following follow-ing members: Louise Gentry, Marcia Mar-cia Lemon, Ila Vaye Lemon. Ev Ette Percival, Joyce Zobell, La Vallene Donegon and Mrs. Foote, the leader. Marcia Lemon Reporter h-h-h-h HAPPY HOME MAKERS ROOSEVELT We held cluh at Linda Rosecrans' home. Linda Bowden called the meeting to order. or-der. Dian Blaine joined our club. We sewed on skirts, aprons and scarfs. We played a game and Linda Rosecrans served refreshments. refresh-ments.
