Show This Week's RECIPE . . . For a variation from the ordinary or-dinary meat dishes served try Stuffed Green Peppers for your in course- Your family will relish the following, recipe for which was contributed by Mrs. Sam Rachele, Helper. STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS (Serves Five) Stuffing 1 lb. ground beef 1 small finely chopped onion 1 cup stale bread crumbs 1 tsp. salt i2 tsp. black pepper 1 tbs. chopped parsley 1 tbs. cheese 2 eggs i can Spanish sauce 1-3 cup water Mix ingredients in order given. Mix well. Peppers 5 large green peppers from which tops and seeds have been removed. Wash thoroughly and dry Sprinkle little salt inside peppers. pep-pers. Add stuffing, top with sauce. Place in large baking dish. Put pepper tops around peppers. A 1 pepper tops around peppeds. Add 1 cup water and cook in oven until tender. |
