Show Oil Nevc Following is the summary of oil well drilling for the week ending March 31, 1953, as released re-leased by the Scouting Division of Carter Oil Company: Whitlock-Taylor No. 1 (Located (Locat-ed NW SW Sec. 24, IS 1W Total depth 10,060 feet. Drill stem test No. 21: 10,027-10,060 ft., open 21 minutes, gas to .surface .sur-face in 21 minues and packers failed, recovered 760 feet oil base mud, heavily cut with formation for-mation oil and gas. No' water. Set 5" OD liner at 10,060 ft. with top liner at 9668 ft., liner slotted with eight 1-8" x 2" slots pf. Drill stem test No. 22 with hook wall packer set at 9656 ft. Tool failed to open. Drill stem test No. 23 with hook wall packer pack-er at 9656 ft. and bottom of anchor at 10,039 ft., open 11V2 hours and started swabbing. Found fluid 200 ft. from surface. In 2V2 hours swabbed approximately approxi-mately 15 barrels oil-base mud and formation oil to burn pit. In 8V2 hours swabbed fluid to 8500 I ft. and recovered 92 "barrels oil. In 13V hours recovered 85 barrels bar-rels oil, 4.3 .basic sediment, swabbing from 9600 ft. with fluid level at 8500 ft.
