Show ALTAF.10J1T By Lorraine Dastrup' Sunday Program Given By Girls The following program was presented at Sacrament meeting Sunday evening: Talk, Lorraine Dastrup; song, Veretta Gomm; talk, by Frances Wall; song, by girls' double trio, consisting of Ona Rust, Rhea Lambert, Maureen Mau-reen Baxter, Rita Hansen and Lorraine Dastrup; talk, Gayle Case. The ladies from Mt. ' Emmons who attended Primary conference confer-ence in Salt Lake were Mrs. Ilene McConkie, Mrs. Phyllis Gailey, Mrs. Rhea Lambert, Mrs. Lois Harper and Mrs. May Mecham. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Swallow, Neil and John Titcomb spent Easter with Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Bond at Heber. Mrs. Ruby Snedeger and Mr. and Mrs. Vern Titcomb were also guests. The Gleaner and M Men class of the Mt. Emmons ward spent a very enjoyable evening at the home of Delia Lister, Tuesday night. Plans for class organization were discussed and refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fieldsted and Mr. and Mrs. Varney Mc-Lea Mc-Lea spent Easter Sunday with Mrs. Vera Holder of Altamont. The people of Altamont-and Mt. Emmons axe happy to welcome wel-come home John Titcomb, who has been serving in Korea with the armed forces. Mrs. Stella Davies and children chil-dren have spent the past week with Mrs. Davies' parents, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Thacker. Mr. Davies came for them Sunday. I Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Orr, I and Mrs. Colleen Nielsen and son took Mr. Cook's mother to j Oregon, where she will remain 1 for a while. j Mr. and Mrs. Robert (B.ob) ! Stevenson and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wall, of Salt Lake, spent Easter weekend with relatives here. Miss Lois Sadler spent the Easter weekend with relatives in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cloyd Powell, who is employed employ-ed with the oil company at Rawlins, Raw-lins, Wyoming, came home to spend thfe weekend with his family. He brought home a new Plymouth sedan. Joe Young and Edward Moffat Mof-fat spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Dastrup. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Ames are visiting relatives here. Mrs. Garrison, of Ogden, spent the weekend with her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Pete Montes. Mrs. Allen Case and boys, of Kamas, visited relatives and friends at Mt. Emmons. The Variety Club sponsored an Easter outing at the rodeo grounds Sunday. Everyone brought his own lunch, and the afternoon ;; was spent playing games. They reported a very pleasant day. Mrs. Irene Hislop and boys spent Saturday and Sunday at the R.E.A. plant with Mr. Hislop, His-lop, who is operating the plant .while Mr. and Mrs. Allen are having a short vacation. Mr. and Mrs. George Berrett, Jr. and family attended the Bear Dance at Ouray, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Deloss Bird were Salt Lake visitors over the weekend. Carl Lister, who was recently operated on at the L.D.S. hospital, hos-pital, has returned to' his home i in Mt. Emmons. |
