Show KINDERGARTEN STARTS FOR NEOLA KIDDIES A group of happy and expectant ex-pectant youngsters gathered at the Neola school house last Monday morning to begin their acquaintance with the three R's and related subjects. The term will last for six weeks, under the capable supervision of Mrs. Lionel Jensen. Marion Harrison made a business bus-iness trip to Salt Lake City the fore part of the week. Mrs. Jay B. Horrocks and baby daughter, of Salt Lake, arrived last Saturday to spend a few weeks at the Theron Horrocks Hor-rocks home. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Duncan, LaRene Duncan and Mrs. Evelyn Eve-lyn Rhoades, chauff eured by-Leah by-Leah Gayle Duncan, spent an enjoyable week visiting in various var-ious towns in Utah and Idaho. Mrs. Ned Shoell and three children, of Orem, spent a few days visiting here at the Jack Leavitt home. Sunday School Faculty meeting meet-ing was held last Monday evening eve-ning at the Thurman Peterson home. The lesson was presented by Neil Jensen. In addition to the officers and teachers, the ward bishopric was in attendance. atten-dance. At the close of the meeting meet-ing light refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Max Horrocks and two daughters,' of Salt Lake City, spent Easter here at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Horrocks. The Larson brothers, Jay, Jr. and Richard, are busily engaged in making the basement for their new homes, situated one mile east of town, on the Neola-! Neola-! Hayden road. Pvt. Howard Gardner, who has been stationed at Ft. Ord, Calif., is home on furlough. John Horrocks left last week for a visit to Salt Lake City. While there he received medical medi-cal attention. |
