Show Mrs. Violet Gentry MRS. MORTENSEN IS CLUB HOSTESS Mrs. Mattie Mortensen entertained enter-tained the ladies of the Thursday Thurs-day Club at her home April 3rd. Delicious refreshments were served ser-ved to Gladys Dart, Olive Sor-ensen, Sor-ensen, Lucy Edwards, Jo Yer-gensen Yer-gensen and Violet Gentry. Mrs. Gladys Harris, of Myton, and Mrs. Eliza. Benson, of Ioka, were special guests of the club. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Flageo-lia Flageo-lia and children, of Salt Lake, spent Easter vacation with Mrs. Flageolia's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd. Mrs. J. B. Lemon spent last week in Salt Lake at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Stevens and children came in from El. Paso, Texas, Friday, for a visit with Mrs. Stevens' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Senor Mortensen. Mrs. Gladys Dart was a guest of the Mothers' Club of Duchesne, Du-chesne, Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Mech. am, of Jerome, Idaho, spent a short visit with his mother, Mrs. Smith Mecham, arid son, Roy. They also visited their brother, Virgil Mecham, of Hancock Cove. Mr. and Mrs. Luke, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. James. Lloyd. Louise Gentry was an overnight over-night guest of Gloria Riding, of Roosevelt, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richens were calling on Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Mecham Friday afternoon. after-noon. Mr. and Mrs. Sheman Soren-sen Soren-sen and children, of Myton, spent Saturday evening with Mrs. Sorensen's mother, Mrs. Olive Sorensen. Dean Lloyd was a Upalco visitor vis-itor one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Fausett, of Upalco, were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Warr, Saturday. . Several from Ioka attended conference in Salt Lake last week. Mrs. Vrnl Mecham and daughter, Mrs. Lois Bird, of Hancock Cove, spent Saturday afternoon with Mrs. Donna Lemon. Lem-on. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lemon and family, of Vernal, were Sunday visitors at the J. B. Lemon and James Lloyd homes. |
